Born in East London of Jamaican decent, Terror’s early influences came from his older brothers and sisters playing early Dancehall and Reggae from their homeland. As they got older and started to go out they fell in love with the UKs Acid House movement, bringing mix tapes back from Raves like Biology, Rain Dance and Energy. Young Terror was hooked and would spend his weekends collecting records and listening to pirate radio. As House/Rave Music turned into breakbeat and early jungle Terror found himself DJing on Rinse FM as part of the Rekless Kru alongside D Double E, Hyper and Bruza… Spinning Jungle.

Who filed the house with the sounds of early dancehall, by the late eighties they were going to early house raves and bringing back mixtapes from events like Spectrum, Biology and Raindance. As house music turned into breakbeat and jungle a young Terror found himself imerresed in collecting vinyl and DJing.. Soon he was cutting dubs and DJing on Rinse FM, Rekless kru alongside D Double E, Bruza and Hyper (1998). Landing warm up gigs at the legendary One Nation Parties Terror soon progressed to production, his first release on Tee Bones Solid City label (‘highly flammable\firecracker’).
After releasing on other labels 2003 saw the birth of his own Aftershock label. Aftershock was THE grime label to be on and Terror released classics such as ‘Cock Back’, ‘So Contagious’ and ‘So Sure’ during this period, each release showcasing Terror’s versatility and depth of production sonics – the hyper skippy drums, the razor sharp synths and deep bass melodies. Aftershock released and nurtured many of the MCs that are now major stars in the UK including Tinie Tempah, Wiley, Mz Bratt, Kano.
In 2009 Electronica label Planet Mu released a retrospective of Terror’s instrumentals and his audience opened up to a whole new level, consequent releases on Rwina, the Power Grid EP (Planet Mu) and Terror’s album opus on the world renown Hyperdub label ‘Undeniable’ has again put him at the forefront of Electronic dance music.
