The Danish synth-rock band, Spleen United released their debut album back in 2005 and the record was a huge success in their native country earning them a gold award. The album ”Godspeed Into The Mainstream” included hits like “Spleen United”, “In Peak Fitness Condition” and “Heroin Unltd”.

Several leading Danish critics immediately named “Neanderthal” one of the most important and best releases of 2008.
National Radio P3 has been highly supportive with massive airplay of the album. The singles “My Tribe” and “Suburbia” are A-listed at Denmark’s leading radio station and “Suburbia” became the most played track on P3 last year.
Spleen United – there name meaning bad temper or spite, from the earlier belief that the spleen was the seat of such emotions – is an amazing live act with their incredible combination of visuals and raw energy on stage. The band has continually sold out Scandinavia’s leading venues over the last couple of years and performed on more than 37 festivals in Europe during 2008 and 2009.
This year they have also toured the United Statess west-coast as well as playing a single exclusive concert in NYC. Now they are coming back for more, playing the CMJ music and movie festival marathon in NYC this coming October 2009.
