Cut Copy DJs are Dan Whitford and Tim Hoey, the prelude to their frontman and guitarist career in the full UK band, Cut Copy.

In the beginning, Dan Whitford began his career as a hip-hop scratch DJ, appearing in the Australian National DMC DJ championships. Now, the DJ duo run the well-respected underground dance label Cutters Records, as well as perform globally as a main stage attraction on both rock and dance festivals, including superclubs, underground dance parties and ultra-cool fashion events.

Cut Copy DJs have put out highly-sought-after, limited-edition promo-only mix CDs around each of their LP releases, which have become extremely popular on the internet, as well as recording remixes for artists such as The Rapture, Death Cab For Cutie, Juan MacClean, Maroon 5 and others.

DJing is core to the whole Cut Copy world, the source of inspiration, song and remix ideas. DJing is an opportunity to get close to their fans, a way to have fun, and spread fun.
