Blood Diamonds is Michael Tucker, a Vancouver-based pop artist best known for beautful dreamscapes and infectious, sun dipped production. Having a background in classical and modernistic jazz, this game design student has developed a sound to call his own. Not only do his tracks offer lush ambient synthetics but he also delves delicately into island percussion and misty baselines. Moving towards borderline theatrics, Blood Diamonds paints a theme of delirium, misguided lust, false eternity and visual radiance.
